Our standard warranty protects your purchase against all manufacturing defects for one year from the date of delivery and covers the structural aspects of our furniture.

If the item is not to you liking or taste, you can return the item to us within 14 days or receipt. A small charge for the collection and delivery of the items will be deducted from you order.

        As we carefully inspect every item before delivery, complaints are extremely rare. If however, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you will find that our concern matches your own. Should there be a fault with one of our products, we will gladly repair the item free of charge or replace the item. Please remember that you have 14 days after delivery to change your mind giving you complete peace of mind! Our guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights, which remain unaffected.    
      Seldom do we have issues relating to the quality of our products, however you can relax in full confidence by opting for the Multimaster 5 year extended warranty.

We are able to arrange for the delivery of our furniture to most parts of the World. We will only use carriers that specialise in furniture transportation ensuring a safe home delivery service.

(UK Home Delivery) Our carrier will phone at least 3 days in advance to confirm the day of delivery. They may also give you a time frame when they will be in your area. Upon request, the courier can call 1 hour before delivery. Hopefully this will allow you to continue your day as usual and make arrangements to be home when taking the delivery.

If the delivery is missed (for whatever reason) the delivery is rescheduled within 7-10 working days. The Sitting Room Company can not be held responsible for any time lost due to late deliveries - our furniture is handled with great care and therefore we expect your patience throughout the delivery stage.

Please note it is your responsibility to ensure that your order fits into your home or work entrance prior to ordering.

On receipt, you are required to check the goods for any damage or shortages and note down any problems on the delivery receipt. If the item is badly damaged, refuse the item and contact us immediately.

        The best method of caring for your furniture is to ensure that any spills are treated immediately. The following recommendations will help ensure you are able to enjoy your Sitting Room Company furniture for many a year.

  • Aniline leather sofas can be nourished by applying baby oil lightly and evenly over a clean cloth and gently rubbing over the leather. This should not be done more that once a year.

 

  • Most of our fabric range are wipeable, allowing you to apply a wet cloth to lift difficult stains. Please check the fabric specification before wetting the material.

  • All of our leather is sourced from UK suppliers and is from European herds. We only use full grain leather, no splits or artificial leather is used on any part of our furniture. Back and sides of the sofa are fully upholstered in the same quality leather that is used throughout.
 
  • All fabrics surpass UK Fire and Safety Standards, and are FR treated before upholstery. We have selected a couple of European mills to produce are exclusive range of fabrics, and we do keep stock of the majority of our range.

        We endeavour to provide our customers with the maximum amount of information to aid their decision making process. Providing samples at no charge, and listing and explaining all aspects of our products enables our customers to build a mental picture of their dream sofa. All Sitting Room Company products are hand made and made to order. We do not sell from stock so we ensure that your order is given top priority and made to the highest standards.      
                   
       
  • Items that have been delivered damaged or a faulty, will be repaired or replaced immediately and at no cost to our customer. Home repairs would be the first available option. One of our upholsterers would visit and attempt a repair. If this is not possible then factory attention would be required. The item would be returned for full inspection and repaired or a new sofa would be made and redelivered. The above collection / repair will occur with no cost to you.
     
       
  • Over 99% of our customers find our product lives up to their expectations. However should you find that our furniture is not as expected, you are able to return the item to us within 14 days. We must be notified of your request for collection immediately, and upon return you will be credited for your order.
